The House

Luxury that is felt
before it is seen

Lucius Luxurious Clothing was founded by Richard Stafford, an engineer, on a simple idea: a beautiful thing should also be a well-made thing. Every seam, weight and fitting is specified, tested and signed off before it is allowed to carry our name.

The palette is deliberately small. Cream and black for every day, racing red for the evening, and gold for the details that last. Our cursive LL monogram appears in solid brass wherever a piece opens and closes.

The Lucius cursive LL monogram

The monogram

Two letters, one flourish

Our LL is drawn as one cursive gesture, its swash terminals curling like a signature. It is cast in solid brass wherever a piece opens and closes: the clasp of a bag, the snap on a heel, the open ring of a belt buckle.

Craftsmanship

Made to a written standard

    Full-grain leather

    The strongest, most honest cut of the hide, left with its natural grain to age well.

  2. II

    16 momme mulberry silk

    A dense twill with a soft hand and depth of colour, for scarves, blouses and bedding.

  3. III

    Solid brass hardware

    Every clasp, buckle and snap cast in solid brass and finished in gold.

  4. IV

    Sapphire crystal

    Scratch-resistant sapphire over every Lucius watch dial.

Every piece is inspected against its specification before it leaves the workshop.
